Goddess pose is best for Taurus zodiac sign

Goddess pose, also known as Utkata Konasana in Sanskrit, is a yoga pose that is often practiced building strength in the legs and hips and stretching the inner thighs and groin. It is a grounding pose that helps to cultivate a sense of balance and stability in the body and mind.

To come into Goddess pose:

  1. Start by standing at the top of your mat with your feet slightly wider than hip-distance apart and turn your toes out slightly so that they are pointing towards the corners of the mat.

  2. Bend your knees deeply while sinking your hips down towards the floor.

  3. Keep your spine straight and your chest lifted.

  4. You can bring your hands into prayer position in front of your heart or extend them out to the sides at shoulder height with your palms facing down.

As the Taurus holds the pose, focus on grounding down through your feet and sinking your hips deeper towards the floor. You may also feel a stretch in your inner thighs and groin area. You can hold the pose for several breaths or for a few minutes, depending on your level of comfort and strength.

Goddess pose is bound to result in a toned, beautiful set of legs and glutes. But more than that, this pose is a celebration of several female goddesses who have acclaimed fame in ancient theology. It celebrates the divine feminine energy, also known as Shakti energy. When in goddess pose, the Taurus is can easily meditate on the strength and beauty of several past goddess which will fuel their innate goal setting and resilient personality.

For the Taurus, try to focus on one specific Hindu Goddess, Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity and wealth:

Lakshmi, also spelled as Laxmi or Luxmi, who is worshipped as the goddess of wealth, fortune, and prosperity in Hindu mythology.

In Hinduism, Lakshmi is considered the consort of Lord Vishnu, one of the principal deities in the Hindu pantheon. She is usually depicted with four arms, each holding symbolic objects like a lotus, representing purity and spiritual enlightenment, and a pot of gold or grain, representing wealth and abundance. She is also often depicted standing or seated on a lotus flower, which symbolizes purity, transcendence, and divine perfection.

Lakshmi is believed to bring good luck, prosperity, and abundance to her devotees. She is worshipped during Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, which is celebrated in India and other parts of the world. During this festival, people light lamps and candles to welcome the goddess into their homes and businesses and seek her blessings.

In addition to being the goddess of wealth and prosperity, Lakshmi is also associated with beauty, fertility, and grace. She is considered a symbol of feminine energy and is often depicted wearing red or pink clothing, adorned with jewelry and flowers.

Overall, Lakshmi is a beloved and revered goddess in Hinduism, and her worship is an important aspect of Hindu culture and tradition.

The Taurus should do this pose and conjure the energy of auspicious Lakshmi so they can receive financial success and put that money towards their innate desire to possess beautiful treasures. They'll also love the effect on their lower body, which will become toned, slim, energized, and ready for bathing suit season.
